Spot the rule behind a run of numbers or letters and supply the missing term, the wrong term or the odd one out.
See what is insideCoding-Decoding
Work out the rule a code uses - letter shifts, reversals, number substitution or an invented language - and apply it to a fresh word.

Untangle who is whose what - photograph riddles, relation chains, coded relation symbols and in-law links.
See what is insideDirection Sense & Distance
Track a walker through left and right turns and work out the final direction, the net displacement and the shortest distance back.
Start the testSyllogisms
Decide which conclusions must follow from two given statements, taking the statements as true even when they contradict everyday facts.
See what is insideSeating Arrangement
Fix people into a row or around a table from a handful of clues, then read off neighbours, ends and opposite seats.
Start the testAnalytical Puzzles
Pin down a floor order, a stack of boxes, a weekly schedule or a person-to-attribute matching from a short list of clues.
See what is insideData Sufficiency

Start the testVerbal Ability 7 papers
Grammar, sentence correction, synonyms, para jumbles, comprehension.
Verbal Ability — Vocabulary, Grammar & Paragraph Sense
English practice for placement screens: word meanings in context, sentence correction, arranging jumbled sentences, and one-word substitution.
Start the testReading Comprehension
Read a short passage and answer questions whose answers are stated outright in the text.
See what is insideGrammar & Error Spotting
Each sentence is split into four parts and exactly one part breaks a standard rule of English grammar - find it.
Start the testSentence Correction
Choose the best replacement for the underlined part of a sentence, or decide that it is already correct.
See what is insideSynonyms & Antonyms
Pick the word closest in meaning, or opposite in meaning, to a given word - alone or as it is used in a sentence.
Start the testPara Jumbles
Rearrange four scrambled sentences into the one order in which every pronoun and connector has something to refer back to.
See what is insideFill in the Blanks
Choose the one word that fits the blank - the right verb, preposition or shade of meaning for the sentence.

See what is insideHow to use these
A drill is about a dozen questions on one topic — good for a spare fifteen minutes between classes. A full paper is forty questions in an hour and should be sat in one go, with the phone somewhere else.
There is no negative marking here, so never leave a question blank. A guess on a four-option question is worth a quarter of a mark on average; a blank is worth zero.
The score is the least useful part of the result. The topic breakdown underneath it is the part that tells you what to revise tonight.
